Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an electrical maintenance professional to join the team. The role covers the Stratford site with some days on a client site in Romford, London, and other sites as needed. Parking is available at both locations, and a positive health and safety attitude is essential.

Typical duties include liaising with the client and Mitie team, issuing permits, completing PPM and reactive tasks, and updating Maximo to maintain 100% compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Electrical installation or recognised equivalent.
• Health & Safety Training.
• Compliance awareness L8, Statutory and Mandatory Inspections.

Responsibilities

• Compile quotations to client for remedial and improvements.
• Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work.
• Complete PPM and reactive tasks and update site folders / Maximo to ensure 100% compliance.
• Carry out tasks at Stratford and other client sites in London as required.

Job description

The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a high-profile commercial environment. Our client has a corporate office in Stratford and a critical site in Romford in our portfolio. 3 days a week will be based at Stratford with the other 2 days possibly in Romford or assisting on another client site in London. Parking is available at both sites. Candidates must have a positive attitude towards health and safety and must also be able to demonstrate a track record in the commercial building services environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm but an earlier start is possible at Stratford.

Key Responsibilities

Close working relationship with the Client and Mitie Team members. Be the first point of contact for planned and reactive work whilst at Stratford. Compile quotations to client for remedial and improvements. Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work. Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the site folders / Maximo to ensure 100% compliance.

Stratford is within a tenant demise, main tasks include;

• Lamp / ballast changes
• Minor electrical faults including with access control systems
• Minor plumbing tasks
• L8 Monitoring
• Checking / replacing desk fuses in the common areas
• Minor paint touch ups from scuffs on walls
