Job summary

Mitie Group in London is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to deliver reactive and proactive maintenance across client sites, ensuring electrical systems and equipment remain safe, compliant and fully functional.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, read technical drawings and support modifications to improve reliability, with training provided and clear career pathways within Mitie’s multi-skilled engineering team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi‑discipline) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of building statutory compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to pass high‑level security checks (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Provide multi‑skilled maintenance support across electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with project and client requirements.
• Complete modifications and installations where required to optimise reliability and maintainability.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate plant and equipment to a high standard.
