Qualifications

• Formal Electrical qualifications in Engineering, i.e NVQ Level 3, Engineering Apprentice or equivalent.
• Experience in maintaining standard industry machinery including conveyor belt systems, bucket fillers and strapping machines.

About The Role

We are seeking an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our day‑shift team at our modern food production facility in Peterborough.

Working Monday to Friday, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that continues to invest heavily in advanced automation, modern equipment, and the development of its people.

In this electrically focused position, you will play a key role in ensuring our production environment operates at peak performance. You’ll work extensively on a wide range of electrical systems, control panels, PLC‑driven equipment, and modern line technology across our site. With frequent upgrades and new machinery installations, you will have the opportunity to expand your electrical skill set and work with cutting‑edge equipment.

About You

• Previous experience as an Electrical Bias Engineer in a high volume, fast moving environment
• Formal Electrical qualifications in Engineering, i.e NVQ Level 3, Engineering Apprentice or Food and Drink Apprenticeship Standard
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude and outlook to internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of driving continuous improvement activities
• Experience in maintaining standard industry machinery including conveyor belt systems, bucket fillers and strapping machines.
