Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer in Woking, Surrey. The role offers £25.87 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) for full-time hours, starting ASAP. Temporary basis with 6 weeks initially.

Responsibilities include plumbing maintenance, fault finding, installations, minor electrical works, and maintenance planning. You will complete planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring health and safety and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and plan preventative maintenance.
• Good communication with clients, contractors and occupants.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and installations.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing and mechanical faults efficiently.
• Minor Electrical Works: Fault-finding lighting and small power systems, replacing electrical accessories
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
• Repair and replace taps and sanitaryware.
• Complete work in accordance with relevant legislation, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed using handheld devices or maintenance management systems.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and building occupants.
• Identify opportunities for improving building performance and reducing maintenance costs.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are used safely and effectively.
