Henderson Brown Recruitment is recruiting two Multi-Skilled Engineers for a leading food production site in North Lincolnshire. You will fault-diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems across high-speed packaging lines.

Work on a 4 on 4 off days and nights rotation, supporting continuous improvements, preventing unplanned downtime, and ensuring safe maintenance practices at all times.

Formación

• Hands-on maintenance and fault diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with packaging or food processing equipment preferred.
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown response experience.
• Ability to work 4 on 4 off day/night rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems to minimise production downtime.
• Take a hands-on approach in both scheduled maintenance and immediate breakdown response.
• Maintain, optimise, and repair equipment including slicing systems, seasoning units, conveyors, and automated packaging lines.
• Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to increase machine efficiency and reduce unplanned stoppages.
• Work closely with operations and production teams to ensure smooth running of equipment and minimal disruption.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and internal maintenance procedures at all times.

We are recruiting for two Multi-Skilled Engineers to join a leading food production facility based in North Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers to join a well-established manufacturer, operating in a high-speed, high-volume environment. These roles are essential to maintaining production performance and driving continuous improvements across the site, working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems to minimise production downtime
• Take a hands-on approach in both scheduled maintenance and immediate breakdown response
• Maintain, optimise, and repair a range of equipment including slicing systems, seasoning units, conveyors, and automated packaging lines
• Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to increase machine efficiency and reduce unplanned stoppages
• Work closely with operations and production teams to ensure smooth running of equipment and minimal disruption
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and internal maintenance procedures at all times

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong hands-on experience working with both electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or production setting
• Relevant engineering qualification - such as NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC/HND or equivalent apprenticeship
• Practical knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting automated machinery - particularly in packaging or food processing environments (preferred but not essential)
• Confidence in reacting to breakdowns as well as carrying out preventative maintenance tasks
