Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a fast-growing manufacturing site in Pembridge. You will maintain equipment, perform high-level fault finding, and support improvements with a team across production lines.

The role operates on a 24/7 Panama rotating shift pattern. You should be time-served, familiar with wiring regs, PLC awareness, and proficient with Word and Excel. A pension and annual leave are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be time served in a manufacturing/plant environment.
• Experience with electrical maintenance and wiring regs.
• Able to work across all areas of the facility and rotate on Panama schedule.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to required standards and set up for production.
• Periodically test machine safety features and maintain records.
• Complete planned maintenance schedules and record parts used and time.
• Record plant history and progression of maintenance actions.
• Review maintenance routines to optimise resources and performance.
• Store and record maintenance procedures, drawings and manuals.
• Record breakdowns and work requests to improve failure history.
• Provide easy access to procedures and related documentation.

We are partnering with a fast-scaling business currently expanding its core engineering group and looking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias.

The main purpose of your role will involve

working as part of the maintenance team reacting to and resolving day to day issues
working closely with other departments and production lines to identify improvements
high level fault finding on both electrical and mechanical applications.
working a 24/7 rotating Panama shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• operate machinery and equipment to the required standards,
• set up machinery in preparation for production operations
• periodically test the operation of machine safety features
• completing planned and preventative maintenance schedules ensuring the results are clearly recorded and validated
• completing routines & works orders including recording parts used and time taken to build an accurate plant history.
• review of maintenance routines to ensure best use of resources.
• storing and recording of maintenance routines.
• recording of plant breakdowns or work requests to build an accurate plant history.
• providing simple easy access to associated procedures, drawings and manuals.
• ensuring all breakdowns are reported and recorded to failure mode level

You will need:
