Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Mansfield is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs across production equipment, driving improvements in reliability and uptime.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to work days and nights. A Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent is expected.

Job Role – Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business in Mansfield.

This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong engineer with a multi-skilled manufacturing background who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and improving equipment reliability.

The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs across a range of production machinery. Working closely with production and engineering colleagues, you will help maximise equipment availability, minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Hands-on experience maintaining manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.

Requirements

• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose faults and repair production machinery efficiently.
• Experience with motors, sensors, drives, gearboxes, conveyors and other industrial equipment.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify recurring faults and implement corrective actions.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work a days and nights shift pattern.
