Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a market-leading industrial manufacturing site in Cheshire. You will manage planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns and ensure equipment compliance with Health & Safety standards while accurately recording all activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised engineering qualification with substantial manufacturing experience, be adept with electrical and mechanical tasks, and be ready to work double-day

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Comfortable working multi-skilled (electrical & mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Perform reactive breakdown work on a busy production site.
• Ensure equipment compliance with Health & Safety legislation and record all maintenance activity.

MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title:Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location:Hartford, Northwich

Salary:Basic up to£50,000 - £55,000+Overtime+Full Benefits Package
Shift:Double Days (Mon–Fri)– 1 week earlies / 1 week lates (no weekends)

As the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key part in keeping production running safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible forplanned preventative maintenance,reactive breakdown work, and ensuring equipment remains compliant with currentHealth & Safety legislation, while accurately recording all maintenance activity.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Recognised Engineering Qualification(Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience in amanufacturing / industrial environment
• Comfortable workingmulti-skilled (electrical & mechanical)(approx. 70/30 either way)

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Experience completingPPMsand responding tobreakdownsacross a busy production site
• Strong mechanical fault-finding:hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts, chains
• Solid electrical skillset:3 phase / single phase, sensors, relays, contactors, variable speed drives
• Organised approach with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Able to work calmly under pressure and communicate effectively with operations/stores
