Job summary

Omega Resource Group is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance for its Derbyshire site. This permanent role supports expansion with a competitive salary package and a clear development path as automation investments drive growth.

You will service, adjust and repair plant machinery, participate in predictive maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvements, with a starting package of £52,500 and a 6-month uplift.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing.
• HND/HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical fields with manufacturing background.
• FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage manufacturing experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• To service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner
• To examine machinery and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
• Share ideas to form mini projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications
• Follow and generate PPMs

Job Title: MultiSkilled Engineer - Maintenance

Factory expansion - new headcount

Salary Package: £52,500 + Package rising after 6 months

Job Type: Permanent

Electrical or mechanical bias must be dual skilled

Location: Derbyshire

Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion and £MM CAPEX Investment

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8 hour shift rotation plus weekend overtime voluntary

Key Responsibilities – Multi-Skilled Engineer - Maintenance

• Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
• FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage chemicals are most welcome including manufacturing, Fill and Pack ideally
