Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited in Canary Wharf, London is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a commercial site on an immediate start. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance alongside the on-site team, focusing on reliability and safety.

The role covers BMS and control systems, air conditioning, chillers, AHUs, heating, pumps, motors, emergency lighting and life safety systems with thorough PPM recording via CAFM.

Qualifications

• Electrically or mechanically qualified and experienced in commercial building maintenance.
• 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates.
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance and multi-skilled building services.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive building maintenance with the on-site team.
• Maintain BMS and control systems, plus HVAC equipment (air conditioning, AHUs, chillers, pumps, heating).
• Record and manage PPM tasks and CAFM documentation; ensure testing of life safety systems.

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Commercial Building - Canary Wharf, London - Immediate start - £33 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Canary Wharf, London. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to cover a commercial site. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

• - 4 on 4 off continental shift - days / nights


• - 08:00am to 20:00pm / 20:00pm to 08:00am


• - Contract type: temp to perm


• - Building Management Systems (BMS)


• - Control systems


• - Air conditioning systems


• - Chillers – wet and dry systems


• - Air Handling Units (AHUs)


• - Heating systems


• - Pumps


• - Single-phase and three-phase motors


• - Emergency lighting – recording of testing


• - Fire and life safety systems – recording of testing


• - Plumbing and sanitary ware


• - Water treatment, including cooling towers and pool plant operation


• - Maintenance and recording of all PPM tasks (statutory or otherwise) via paperwork and CAFM

Requirements

• - Electrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above


• - 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates


• - Proven experience within commercial building maintenance


• - Multi-skilled building services experience


• - Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance
