Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a commercial site in Canary Wharf, London. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on BMS, AHUs, chillers, pumps and water systems, with a strong focus on electrical or mechanical disciplines.

The position offers a 4 on 4 off continental shift, days and nights, with an immediate-start on a temp-to-perm basis. Salary is paid at £33 per hour via umbrella.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above.
• 18th Edition desirable for electrical bias.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled building services experience.
• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance capabilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and control systems.
• Service air conditioning, AHUs, chillers, pumps, and water systems.
• Carry out maintenance and recording of PPM tasks via CAFM.
• Assist with heating systems and water treatment operations.
• Liaise with site teams to respond to maintenance needs.

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Commercial Building - Canary Wharf, London - Immediate start - £33 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Canary Wharf, London. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to cover a commercial site. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

4 on 4 off continental shift - days / nights

08:00am to 20:00pm /20:00pm to 08:00am

Contracttype: temp to perm

£33 per via umbrella

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Building Management Systems (BMS)


• Control systems


• Air conditioning systems


• Chillers - wet and dry systems


• Pressure vessels


• Air Handling Units (AHUs)


• Heating systems


• Pumps


• Humidifiers


• Sprinkler systems


• Single-phase and three-phase motors


• Emergency lighting - recording of testing


• Fire and life safety systems - recording of testing


• Plumbing and sanitary ware


• Water treatment, including cooling towers and pool plant operation


• Maintenance and recording of all PPM tasks (statutory or otherwise) via paperwork and CAFM

Requirements

• Electrically or mechanically qualified - City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above


• 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates


• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance


• Multi-skilled building services experience


• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance


• Good communication and customer service skills
