Job summary

WH Scott Group in London is seeking multi-skilled engineers to join the team for servicing, maintenance, and installation of overhead gantry cranes and lifting equipment in London and the South East. You will attend breakdowns, perform servicing and testing, and support installation across various sites.

The role requires experience in preventative maintenance, electrical engineering, and familiarity with PLCs/inverter control systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Electrical engineering expertise with solid understanding of three-phase control systems.
• Experience with fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in industrial settings.

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will:

• Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.
• Support the installation of lifting equipment for a variety of customers across the South East.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the highest quality of maintenance and service.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experiencein preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Electrical engineering expertisewith a solid understanding of three-phase control systems.
• Mechanical experiencewith medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
• Familiarity withPLCs and inverter control systems(desirable but not essential).
• A validdriving licenseand a willingness to travel (25% travel required).
