Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer searching for a new exciting challenge?

If yes, then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

This role is based at our manufacturing site in Folkestone and involves maintenance and repairs of production and plant equipment, while driving efficiency through continuous improvement activities and automation developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure regular checks and testing of plant equipment to operate within correct specifications.
• Execute maintenance procedures, prioritize work based on plant needs and production schedules.
• Follow health & safety and quality procedures strictly.

Shift Pattern:

Work a 12-hour shift on a rotating pattern from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, on a 4 on 4 off schedule.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate must have both electrical and mechanical backgrounds and experience working on high-speed lines within an FMCG environment.

You should be an enthusiastic team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with staff and contractors.

Education and Experience:

• Extensive experience with processing and packaging machinery.
• Mechanical qualification: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Electrical qualification: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC & robotic issues.
• Experience in reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and SMED projects.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations.
• Basic Lean Six Sigma knowledge/qualifications are a plus.
