Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients in Manchester is seeking an Engineering Technician to keep production running at peak efficiency. You will maintain and improve Dairy facility equipment, diagnose faults, and implement long-term fixes as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Background in planned and reactive maintenance in manufacturing.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• HNC Electrical or equivalent mechanical-electrical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment performance.

Are you an experienced Engineering Technician who enjoys fault-finding, solving problems and keeping manufacturing operations running at their best?

Join Müller Milk & Ingredients at our Manchester site as an Engineering Technician, where you'll play a key role in maintaining, improving and supporting our production operations across our Dairy facilities.

Contract: Permanent
Location: Manchester

What will you be doing:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.

What are we looking for:

• Someone who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing or other fast-paced production environments
• HNC Electrical preferred, or Mechanical with strong electrical competence.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of automation and continuous improvement tools is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach to improving equipment reliability.
