Job summary

We are seeking an Engineering Technician at Müller UK & Ireland, Severnside Dairy. You will diagnose faults, perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to boost reliability, on a 4 on, 4 off shift (2 days / 2 nights, 7-7) with 276 hours leave, a 5% bonus, pension, life assurance and Müller Rewards.

Roles span Dairy and Blow Moulding, with opportunities across the engineering function. You will complete a recognised apprenticeship, ideally with an HNC Electrical or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• HNC Electrical preferred (or Mechanical with strong electrical competence).
• Strong electrical capability with sound mechanical skills.
• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing / FMCG environment.
• Automation and CI tools experience advantageous.
• IOSHH / NEBOSH desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance to keep operations running safely.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Support processing, filling and packaging equipment in Dairy or Blow Moulding lines.

Are you an experienced multi-skilled engineer looking for a role where you can do more than simply keep the equipment running?, We're currently growing our engineering team at our Severnside Dairy and are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our Blow Moulding & Dairy departments You'll have the opportunity to use your mechanical and electrical skills to diagnose faults, solve recurring problems, carry out root cause analysis and identify improvements that increase equipment reliability and efficiency. It's a permanent 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 2 days / 2 nights (7-7), with 276 hours' annual leave, a 5% annual bonus, pension, life assurance, Müller Rewards and defined career development pathways. The Role

Depending on the team, you could be supporting processing, filling and packaging equipment within Dairy, or high-speed bottle manufacturing and moulding lines within Blow Moulding. You'll play a key role in keeping our operations running safely and effectively, responding to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance and identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and improve performance.
