Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electrical Shift Technician to join a busy facilities management team in Woking. The role covers electrical and basic mechanical building services with a focus on PPM work.

You will work a rotating shift pattern across early, day, and late slots, plus a shared on-call rota. Candidates should have electrical installation qualifications and strong fault-finding experience in commercial settings.

Qualifications

• C&G Part 1 & 2 Electrical Installation 2360 or recognised equivalent.
• Experience in electrical maintenance in commercial buildings.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience carrying out electrical PPM in commercial buildings.
• Good understanding of RAMS and health & safety procedures.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance, breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
• Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs and remedial works.
• Complete electrical installation, testing and inspection.
• Maintain lighting and electrical distribution systems.
• Assist with basic mechanical maintenance when required.
• Diagnose faults across building services and plant.
• Complete PPM records, reports and relevant documentation.
• Liaise with clients, site teams and specialist contractors.
• Monitor and coordinate contractors attending site.
• Work alongside other engineers and trades to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Assist other disciplines when required.
• Carry out duties relating to water hygiene and L8 requirements when required.
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times.
