Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Multi-Skilled CNC Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair CNC machines across the UK. The role covers mechanical and electrical fault-finding, with travel to customer sites and on-site support.

You will perform PPM, alignments and installations, requiring independent work, excellent troubleshooting, and experience with major CNC controls.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Service Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience on CNC machine tools including DMG Mori, Mazak, Hurco, Haas.
• CNC control systems include Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain.
• Able to work independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair CNC machine tools.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Ball bar testing and analysis.
• Ball screw inspection, replacement and alignment.

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 Basic + OT

A well-established CNC machine tool service provider is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled CNC Service Engineer to support customers across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business.

The Role

As a CNC Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing a wide range of CNC machine tools at customer sites. You will work on both mechanical and electrical issues, supporting customers with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, machine alignments and installations.

• Service, maintain and repair CNC machine tools.

• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
