Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Carpenter to work in South Birmingham on temporary to permanent roles. You will perform carpentry, plumbing and plastering tasks within occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality maintenance and excellent customer service.

The role requires NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2, driving licence, and the ability to handle multiple trades, with a van and fuel card provided for business use.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in relevant trade.
• Previous experience in social housing or domestic property repairs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to perform basic secondary trades.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs in domestic/social housing settings (carpentry/plumbing/plastering).
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties.
• Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (basic plumbing, tiling, etc.).
• Maintain excellent customer service during visits.

About the Role:
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experiencedMulti Skilled Operativesto join our client’s repairs &maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day upgrades and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of repairs in domestic/social housing settings, Carpentry / Plumbing / Plastering main trade.

• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties

• Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., basic plumbing, tiling, etc.)

• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in any relevant trade

• Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Ability to perform basic secondary trades
