Job summary

Omega Resource Group seeks a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer to perform reactive roofing repairs and general construction tasks across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites. The role involves working away at times, with a company van provided and a supportive team environment.

You will contribute to paving, slab laying and external repairs, while ensuring safety and high workmanship standards across diverse sites in the Midlands and South of England.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction environments.
• Broad range of reactive building repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs is advantageous.
• Competent in paving, slab laying and external repair works.
• Good understanding of health and safety on client sites.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.
• Undertake general building maintenance across various sites including paving and external repairs.
• Work with a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance professionals.
• Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works.
• Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with periods away from home.

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer Location

South of England (Midlands to South Coast)

Pay Range/details: £15.00 to £17.00 per hour + Paid Travel + Company Van + Accommodation When Working Away

Omega are supporting a growing specialist maintenance and building services provider in their search for a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer. The successful candidate will join an established team delivering reactive maintenance and general building works across a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, industrial and retail environments. The role will involve a mixture of roofing repairs, building maintenance and general construction works, making it ideal for a versatile tradesperson who enjoys variety and working across different sites. Key Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer

• Carry out reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.
• Undertake general building maintenance works across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites, including paving, slab laying, repairs and external building works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship.
• Work collaboratively as part of a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance professionals.
• Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works and any follow-on requirements.
• Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with occasional periods working away from home.
