Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer to join a busy maintenance team delivering reactive repairs and general building works across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites.

You will perform roofing repairs, general maintenance, paving and external works, travel to sites across the Midlands and South of England, and stay away when required. A valid UK driving licence is essential and a flexible, hands-on trades approach is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled trades.
• Able to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.
• Undertake general building maintenance works across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites, including paving, slab laying, repairs and external building works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship.
• Work collaboratively as part of a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance professionals.
• Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works and any follow-on requirements.
• Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with occasional periods working away from home.

Pay Range/details: £15.00 to £17.00 per hour + Paid Travel + Company Van + Accommodation When Working Away

Omega are supporting a growing specialist maintenance and building services provider in their search for a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer. The successful candidate will join an established team delivering reactive maintenance and general building works across a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, industrial and retail environments. The role will involve a mixture of roofing repairs, building maintenance and general construction works, making it ideal for a versatile tradesperson who enjoys variety and working across different sites. Key Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer

• Carry out reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.

Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer

• Previous experience within general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction environments.
• Ability to carry out a broad range of reactive building repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs would be highly advantageous.
• Competent in general building tasks including paving, slab laying and external repair works.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements on client sites.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
