Job summary

Elatestaff is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer in Chesterfield for a Multi-Skilled Assembly Operative. You will assemble premium fire doorsets from technical drawings, ensuring high-quality throughout production, in a modern facility.

Key duties include reading drawings, finishing components, fitting hardware, and conducting quality checks. The role offers a structured training path and long-term career prospects within a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in bench joinery, cabinet making, shopfitting, door/window manufacturing, or similar assembly role.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Experience reading technical drawings.
• Fire door manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Salary: £28,080 - £30,160 Per Annum

The Role:

As a Multi-Skilled Assembly Operative, you'll assemble premium fire doorsets to certified specifications, working from technical drawings and ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
