Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is seeking a highly skilled Roofer to join our repairs and maintenance team covering Skegness, Boston and surrounding areas. You'll undertake roof installation, patch repairs and refurbishments, work in customers' homes with a friendly manner, and deliver excellent customer service while coordinating in a mobile role.

Applicants should have significant roofing experience; driving licence is essential; DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Significant roofing experience
• Time served or a roofing qualification beneficial
• Must have full driving licence
• DBS check required
• Experience with social landlords or housing associations is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair roofs on properties in Skegness, Boston and surrounding areas
• Complete patch repairs and refurbishments as required
• Work in customers' homes with friendly manner and deliver good customer service
• Operate as part of a mobile team covering the local area

Platform Property Care are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Roofer to join our busy repairs and maintenance team covering Skegness, Boston and the surrounding areas.

What could you be doing?

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of our properties, you'll be completing patch repair work and refurbishments. You will be able to install and replace roofs, and be competent to deliver

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.

Some things we need from you:

• You'll have significant roofing experience
• Time served or a roofing qualification will be a benefit
• Be self - motivated
• Willing to learn new skills
• You must be able to work alone, and as part of a team
• Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
• Strong customer service skills
• Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
• As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.

This role is for a team based in Skegness, Boston and the surrounding areas you will need to live in this area., This role is mobile, so it is essential you have a current valid driving licence. Unfortunately, we cannot progress applications from applicants who do not hold this.
