Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, seeks a skilled Multi Skill Carpenter to maintain and repair homes across Malvern, Ledbury and Bromyard. You will perform carpentry, plus flooring, plastering, tiling and decoration, delivering high standards in customers' homes.

You will manage jobs from inspection to completion, coordinating with the Localities Area Manager, and ensuring right-first-time delivery with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Carpentry with multi-skill trades (Flooring, Plastering, Tiling, Decoration).
• Full driving licence required for a mobile role.
• Experience delivering multi-trade work in customers' homes.
• DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage jobs from inspection through to completion in customers' homes.
• Carry out a range of multi-skilled maintenance works.
• Ensure jobs are completed to spec with right-first-time delivery.
• Liaise with Localities Area Manager to keep work on track.

Platform Property Care hasa fantastic opportunity for anexperiencedMulti Skill Carpenter based in Malvern, Ledbury and Bromyard to join our repairs and maintenance team to help us maintain and improve our homes.

What could you be doing?

You will beensuring our customer's homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard. You will be an experienced Multi Skill Trades Carpenter who can carry out a range of multi skilled maintenance works such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, wall tiling, flooring, and decoration including major works.

You will work closely with the Localities Area Manager in this area, to manage jobs from inspection, through carrying out the works independently and post inspection once works are completed.

You will thrive on giving great customer service, keeping jobs on track and possess the drive to make sure the work is completed to spec.You'll have full control of your job completion, inclusive of materials and liaison with customers.

The role is varied, and no two days are the same! It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you'll have the support of a great team!

You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills.You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.You will also own the work issued and be focused on Right First-Time delivery.

Some Things We Need From You

You will be qualified in Carpentry with associated trade skills of Flooring, Plastering, Tiling and Decoration

You'll have the ability to demonstrate an expertise in these trades and be able to deliver and resolve a repair job from start to finish.

• Experience of delivering Multi Trade work,
• You will be qualified to at least NVQ L2 Carpentry
• You will have good organisational skillsand experience of keeping jobs on track
• And the personal drive to ensure works are completed quickly, efficiently and delivered right first time
• A full driving licence is essential as this is a mobile role, a van with fuel card is provided
• As you will be working within Customers' homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additionalfrom being on the out of hours rota as required.

This role is for a team covering Malvern, Ledbury and Bromyard so you will need to live here.
