Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is seeking a Multi Skill Trades Plumber to cover Worcestershire and Oxfordshire. The role focuses on plumbing but requires broad multi-trade skills to complete repairs in customers' homes.

You'll join a supportive team, with opportunities for overtime, a company van, fuel card, and healthcare benefits. A DBS check and a valid driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is essential.
• Experience as a Plumber or multi-trade plumber in the building trades.
• Experience delivering multi-trade repairs for social landlords or housing associations.
• Desirable: carpentry, plastering, decorating or tiling skills.
• Full driving licence is essential; DBS check required.

Platform Property Care are looking for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Plumber to join our talented Responsive Repairs team covering Worcestershire and Oxfordshire to help us ensure our customer's homes are maintained to a high-quality standard.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Operative and plumbing will be your focus, but experience in other trades is essential, as you will be delivering Multi Trade repairs within a responsive repairs environment.

The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you'll have the support of a great team.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

We are looking for someone who has:

• NVQ L2 Plumbing is essential
• Experience of working as a Plumber in the building trade either as a Plumber or as a multi-skilled Plumber
• Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council, delivering multi trade repairs and maintenance
• Associated trade skills, and or qualifications in carpentry, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling would also be desirable.
• Experience of delivering multi-trade work
• Good organisational skills
• Experience of keeping jobs on track
• The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently.
• Good IT Skills. Experienced using a PDA. Experience of using Microsoft and Outlook email.
• Full current valid driving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role.
• As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota, which is required.

This role is for a team covering repairs in Worcestershire and Oxfordshire so you will need to live in this area.
