Job summary
Gordon Murray Automotive is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead multi-site warehouse and logistics operations supporting production. You will oversee receipt, storage, distribution and inventory control, while integrating ERP and TMS to optimise performance.
You will champion safety, coach teams and drive continuous improvement, delivering cost savings and reliable supply to manufacturing across locations. A proactive, collaborative leader with automotive experience is essential.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience leading multi-site operational teams.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Experience using ERP and inventory software.
- Analytical, data-driven and able to drive improvements.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or high-performance env.
- Knowledge of JIT and lean logistics.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day warehouse and logistics across all sites to support production.
- Oversee receipt, storage and distribution of materials ensuring accuracy.
- Plan transport between sites, suppliers and customers.
- Monitor KPIs and drive improvements to cut costs.
- Ensure health and safety and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and coach high-performing teams across locations.
