Job summary

Proman in Selby area is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead a growing transport operation. You will manage drivers, planners and vehicles, ensuring compliance, service levels and efficient running of daily operations.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, practical problem solving, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. CPC would be beneficial but extensive operational experience and customer focus are key.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Transport Manager or in a senior transport role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Solid understanding of transport compliance and driver hours.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
