Salary:

£40,692.51 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts

This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations within a specified region.

The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical, and building assets in ASDA stores efficiently and cost-effectively, whilst complying with Company Health and Safety procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing all necessary PPMs and ensuring all remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance
• Supervising the Maintenance Assistant (MA), providing coaching and support in line with company processes
• Prioritising maintenance and repair work to meet timescales and SLA commitments

Qualities and Experience:

• C&G 2382 (18th edition)
• Level 3 core Electrical qualification, e.g., C&G 2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G 2365, etc.

Desirable but not essential:

• Familiarity with electrical certification completion
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
• Relevant industry experience or time served in electrical discipline

Ideal candidate qualities:

• Ability to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment such as fans, pumps, and compressors to recognised standards
• General plumbing and building experience
• Ability to work at heights
• Current driving licence
