Job summary

Mitie is seeking a proactive Small Works Supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical small works across multiple sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time delivery from planning to completion.

You will lead site teams, coordinate contractors, review maintenance certification, manage risks, and maintain client relationships while upholding Mitie’s standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical and Electrical biased Small Works Supervisor, with relevant project management experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Experience using CAFM systems and other facilities management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support hard Facilities Management activities across single or multiple sites.
• Monitor the supply chain to ensure all work activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Review planned maintenance certification, identify compliance issues, and raise remedial work orders where required.
• Manage resources, risks, contractors, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
• Respond promptly and professionally to operational challenges while maintaining service excellence.
• Ensure high standards of safety, compliance, and performance are maintained across all areas of responsibility.
• Lead, coordinate, and deliver small works projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion.
