Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting for a School Caretaker to cover across schools in Bodmin and Redruth. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with negotiable hours, across multiple sites.

You will maintain safe, clean, welcoming school environments and support with deliveries, room setups and site security. Experience in caretaking or facilities is desirable, with a basic DIY skillset and good health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or site management is desirable.
• Good practical DIY and maintenance skills.
• Understand health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure school premises.
• Carry out general maintenance and basic DIY tasks.
• Ensure buildings and grounds are safe, clean and well maintained.
• Perform routine health and safety checks.
• Support with room setups, deliveries and site security.
• Liaise with contractors as required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues across Bodmin and Redruth sites.
