Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Relief Security Officer to cover holidays, sickness and short-notice absences across RAF Scampton, Gousto Food Packaging Site and the National Grid Training Site.

The role offers a dynamic, multi-site security challenge and a competitive hourly rate of £13.36. You will provide a professional presence, respond to incidents, conduct patrols and maintain high standards of service across locations.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to your own vehicle.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Previous security experience.
• Professional, calm and confident approach.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude towards ongoing training and licence renewals.

Responsibilities

• Delivering professional security services across RAF Scampton, Gousto and the National Grid Training Site.
• Providing holiday, sickness and short-notice absence cover where required.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and customers.
• Responding effectively to incidents, emergencies & suspicious activity.
• Carrying out patrols and monitoring for potential risks.
• Completing incident reports, logbooks and check calls accurately.
• Reporting Health & Safety concerns promptly.
• Using security systems and technology confidently.
• Remaining calm, professional and proactive under pressure.
