Isle of Wight Council is seeking an Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative to learn all aspects of school facilities management. You will work with our multi-site team to support maintenance tasks and help keep school environments safe and welcoming.

Training is provided toward a recognised Property Maintenance qualification through Isle of Wight College, with flexibility to work across campuses and sites.

• No previous experience required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in.
• Practical, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
• Organised, reliable and punctual.

Responsabilidades

• Support general site maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with health and safety checks and paperwork.
• Grounds maintenance and keeping outdoor areas tidy.
• Help set up rooms for events and activities.
• Manage deliveries and stock checks.
• Ensure the school site is clean, safe and secure.
