The Isle of Wight College partners with Lanesend Primary School to offer an Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative role across three sites: Lanesend, St.Blasius, and St.Francis. Full training leads to a recognised property maintenance qualification while you learn practical skills on site.

ideale for someone who enjoys hands-on tasks, problem solving, and teamwork. No prior experience required; a full driving licence is preferred and you will be supported by an experienced mentor.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with general site maintenance and repairs
• Assisting with health & safety checks and paperwork
• Grounds maintenance and keeping outdoor areas tidy
• Helping to set up rooms for events and activities
• Managing deliveries and supporting with stock checks
• Ensuring the school site is clean, safe, and secure
