Redline Group’s client, a world-leading precision engineering manufacturer, seeks a Planning & Materials Manager to drive planning, materials control and scheduling across Miskin and Woodchester sites.

You will lead a team of Planners and Material Controllers, ensure material availability aligns with production and customer commitments, and partner with Procurement, Logistics and Manufacturing to improve efficiency. A strong ERP/MRP background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and materials management within engineering or high-tech environments.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and ability to translate data into actionable plans.
• Proven track record developing and leading planning teams across sites.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, scheduling and materials control across multiple sites.
• Coach and develop Planners and Material Controllers; manage performance.
• Ensure material availability aligns with production and customer commitments.
• Monitor demand, capacity and inventory; mitigate supply risks.
• Improve planning processes; drive operational efficiency and CI initiatives.
• Collaborate with Assembly, Procurement, Logistics and Warehousing teams.
• Oversee stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
• Utilise ERP/MRP to support scheduling and material requirements.
• Analyse data to identify improvement opportunities and key metrics.
• Support capacity planning and align resources with demand.
• Build stakeholder relationships across sites to aid decision making.
