Job summary

Franco Manca is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee planned and reactive maintenance across the estate, working with our Property team and approved contractors to keep restaurants safe, compliant and trading.

This field-based role requires an organised, proactive maintenance professional with multi-site experience, contractor management, PPM, CAFM (ProNet), and a full UK driving licence; regular travel across sites is involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities management or property maintenance within a multi-site environment.
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance suppliers.
• Knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Experience using CAFM systems (ProNet experience would be an advantage).
• Understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Experience managing budgets and reviewing contractor quotations.
• Good Excel, Outlook and reporting skills.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving ability.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme across multiple sites.
• Coordinate and monitor reactive maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Use CAFM system (ProNet) to track work orders, maintenance schedules and contractor performance.
• Manage approved contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the required standard.
• Support statutory compliance across the estate, including gas safety, fire systems, electrical testing, refrigeration and water hygiene requirements.
• Review quotations, monitor maintenance spend and ensure value for money.
• Support restaurant openings, refurbishments and landlord-related maintenance matters.
• Provide regular reporting on maintenance performance, compliance and costs.
• Participate in an out-of-hours escalation rota for critical maintenance issues.
