Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust invites applications for an Operational Site Manager in Facilities to oversee patient environment services across three peripheral sites. You will lead ward housekeeping, portering, catering, waste and other operational teams, with a structure of 2 Assistant Facilities Managers and 8 Supervisors.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00–16:00 with on-call responsibilities.

Formación

• Significant experience managing other managers in an operational service environment.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and motivational leadership.
• Ability to lead a diverse team of staff and roles.
• Self-motivated with strong planning and independent working skills.
• Strong analytical, IT and numeracy skills for document creation and presentations.
• Familiarity with the operational impact of cleaning and catering services in a health care setting.
• Recent experience managing a wide range of operational services.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage facilities services across three peripheral hospital sites (Seacroft, Chapel Allerton, Wharfedale).
• Oversee ward housekeeping, porters, domestics, waste, linen, pest control, reception, and patient catering.
• Lead a team including 2 Assistant Facilities Managers and 8 Supervisors; ensure service continuity, day-to-day operations and on-call coverage.
• Coordinate expansion plans and new service provisions across sites and theatres.
• Ensure attendance at sites and transport access requirement for role.
