Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor for a hybrid role across multiple UK sites, with a Berkshire base. You will support health and safety compliance and promote best practices to improve the safety culture.

Responsibilities include site visits, risk assessments, incident investigations, ISO standard alignment, and policy upkeep. Salary £40,000 p.a., £350 monthly car allowance, 23 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as Health & Safety Practitioner, Advisor, or similar within the UK
• Experience applying health and safety principles in operational environments (not office-based)
• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, transport, or similar industries
• Strong organisational skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to travel across multiple UK sites

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety support across over 20 UK locations through regular visits, inspections, and safety audits
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies to support continuous safety improvements
• Develop and review risk assessments, safe systems of work, and operational safety procedures
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support compliance with UK health and safety legislation and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
• Maintain safety policies and legal documentation; provide guidance to managers and staff
