Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Newcombe Lodge in Bussage, Gloucestershire. The role covers three sites, with a 37.5-hour week and a company van provided. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and staff, while liaising with contractors and managing invoices.

The ideal candidate will have basic numeracy and literacy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a compassionate team. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A positive, customer-focused approach and strong team-working skills.
• Experience or knowledge in a building, plumbing, mechanical or electrical trade is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment across sites.
• Assist with day-to-day operations and keep spaces well looked after.
• Liaise with external contractors and manage maintenance invoices.
• Work across three sites and report to each home manager.
• Flexible 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday with potential for adjustments.
