Job summary

Priory Newcombe Lodge is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role supports the smooth running of the facility, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You will operate across three sites and must hold a valid manual driving licence. A laptop and mobile phone are provided for coordination with contractors and managing maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A positive, customer-focused approach and strong team-working skills.
• Experience or knowledge in a building, plumbing, mechanical or electrical trade.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Common Maintenance Standards across three sites as defined by the General Property Maintenance Guide.
• Deliver effective, efficient and economical day-to-day maintenance, including new and alteration works to ensure safety and a pleasant environment.
• Liaise with home managers and external contractors; manage related invoices.
• Work Monday to Friday 9am–5pm with potential flexibility on request.
