Job summary

Cloherty Property Company Limited is seeking a proactive Facilities Operative to support maintenance, presentation and safety across multiple sites in the Warrington region. The role requires regular site travel and a full UK driving licence.

You will manage cleaning, grounds maintenance, safety compliance, and records in CAFM systems while reporting issues and prioritising operational needs. A strong sense of responsibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in facilities, maintenance, caretaking or similar environments.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance across internal and external areas.
• Carry out routine cleaning (sweeping, mopping, pressure washing) and waste management.
• Perform grounds maintenance (mowing, hedges, planting, landscaping).
• Support health and safety: fire safety tests, water hygiene, emergency lighting.
• Update CAFM system records, conduct site inspections and report issues.
• Occasionally accompany out-of-hours emergency call-outs; flexible duties.
