Job summary

Thorn Baker Group in the North West is seeking an Area Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning across 7 sites including Liverpool, Bolton, Warrington, Preston and Trafford. Own transport is essential.

You will work with the Area Manager to ensure staffing, standards and training, and you will cover multi-site operations with a hands-on management style. This is a permanent role offering progression in facilities management and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader with multi-site remit.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport essential.
• Experience with rotas, payroll, recruitment, audits or compliance paperwork is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of contracts across 7 sites in the North West.
• Manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all sites.
• Assist with payroll administration, timesheets and hours checking.
• Assist with recruitment and conduct interviews for vacancies.
• Coordinate inductions and refresher training for operatives.
• Visit sites regularly to support teams and maintain standards.
• Ensure QSHE paperwork is completed correctly and audits are carried out.
• Order cleaning products and equipment to keep sites stocked.
• Assist with absence management and arrange cover as needed.
• Uphold company procedures, health and safety standards.
