Royal Mail P&FS is recruiting for a Multi-site Cleaning Operative at Longton Delivery Office.

Job Details

• Reference Number: 324369
• Pay: £12.21 per hour
• Benefits: 22.5 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years), bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, Defined Contribution pension scheme, car parking
• Contract: Fixed Term for 6 months
• Hours: Full/Part-time, 27 hours/week, Monday – Saturday
• Shift Pattern: 10am to 2:30pm, split over 2 sites at the same location

Role Responsibilities

As a cleaning operative, you will perform tasks such as mopping, toilet cleaning, wall washing, vacuuming, bin emptying, dusting, and sanitising surfaces to a high standard. Full training and induction are provided. The role involves physical activity and manual handling.

Candidate Profile

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. You should be friendly, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Good communication skills and adherence to health & safety regulations are required. Ability to work independently and organise your time is essential.
