Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Central Support Chef to support a portfolio of schools across South and West Yorkshire. The role includes covering chef manager absences, training onsite teams, and aiding with mobilisations while ensuring quality, service and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have Chef Manager experience, a passion for food and customer service, and the ability to lead by example across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Previous Chef Manager experience (ideally within secondary education)
• Genuine passion for food and customer service
• Strong craft skills and ability to lead by example
• Excellent organisation, flexibility and resilience
• Ability to prioritise and adapt across multiple sites

Responsibilities

• Cover chef manager absences across sites
• Support training and development of onsite catering teams
• Assist with mobilisation of new contracts
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service and compliance
• Provide hands-on kitchen support when required
