Job description

Equans is recruiting for a Multi Site Caretaker based at Vinewood House, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 4DB. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, with a salary of £26,800 per annum and benefits.

The role involves working Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with participation in an on-call rota which may change based on business needs.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and COSHH laws and policies.
2. Investigating building faults, isolating/making safe, and coordinating repairs.
3. Performing minor and planned maintenance tasks.
4. Participating in an on-call rota, attending emergencies, and supporting fire stations and schools.
5. Completing audits and maintaining documentation.
6. Snow clearance and gritting during winter.
7. Providing Meet & Greet services for community groups, including setup and cleanup.
8. Reporting misuse or damage.
9. Working under pressure, problem-solving, and using initiative.
10. Maintaining site appearance and rules.
11. Performing additional duties as required and providing cover for absences across all sites.
