Job summary

GSF Car Parts LTD is seeking a General Assistant to support diverse branch operations across delivery, warehouse and counter sales. You will contribute to customer service excellence, process orders and assist with promotions and promotions while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring a customer-facing background, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to work across multiple duties. A full UK driving licence is preferred and product knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in retail or delivery.
• Positive, proactive approach with focus on customer service.
• Motivated and target-driven with ability to contribute to sales targets.
• Able to use IT systems for orders, stock management and customer interactions.
• Flexible across delivery driving, warehouse operations and counter sales.
• Strong teamwork, collaborative in fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail in order picking and customer requests.
• Full UK driving licence (or requirement to drive).
• Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry advantageous; familiarity with systems like MAM, Allicat or MS Office desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers safely and on time.
• Assist trade and retail customers at the counter and upsell where appropriate.
• Pick and pack parts from the warehouse for orders.
• Support click and collect orders and ensure prompt service.
• Assist sales team with product promotions and queries via phone or email.
• Handle returns and queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of organisation and health & safety across areas.
• Promote a professional company image and represent GSF values.
• Develop product knowledge via e-learning and training.
