Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a General Assistant to support customer service across delivery, warehouse and retail counter roles. You will help with face-to-face sales, click and collect orders and build strong customer relationships.

The role requires flexibility, a full UK driving licence, basic IT system skills, and a proactive, target-driven approach. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 20 hours per week, with potential to increase based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in retail or delivery.
• Positive, proactive approach with a strong focus on service recovery.
• Motivated and target-driven, with ability to contribute to sales.
• Confident using IT systems to process orders and manage stock.
• Ability to work flexibly across delivery, warehouse and counter sales.
• Strong teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence (or need to drive as required).
• Knowledge of car parts is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivery driving duties with accurate and timely customer service.
• Serve trade and retail customers at the counter and upsell where appropriate.
• Pick and pack parts from the warehouse for orders.
• Support click and collect orders and ensure prompt service.
• Assist the sales team with promotions and handling inquiries.
• Satisfy customer needs regarding orders, returns or queries.
• Maintain organisation and health and safety standards in the workplace.
