Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Derby, UK is seeking a Multi-Point Gluer Operator to join our production team in a fast-paced packaging environment. This hands-on role focuses on setting up and running multi-point glue machines to deliver high-quality output.

You will monitor machine performance, perform routine maintenance, and ensure products meet strict quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Continental 12-hour shifts are offered with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience operating multi-point glue machines (preferred).
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job sheets.
Ability to work to deadlines and production targets.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate multi-point gluing machines to ensure high-quality output.
Optimise and monitor machine performance, adjust settings and perform routine maintenance.
Inspect finished products to meet quality standards and customer specs.
Troubleshoot issues and communicate with maintenance when needed.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Complete production records and follow company procedures.
Work safely in accordance with Smurfit Westrock procedures.
