We’re Looking for a Visual Storyteller

Are you a versatile content creator with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for crafting scroll-stopping content? Do you thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, love storytelling through video and visuals, and know how to turn a brief into engaging digital content?

We're seeking a Mid-Level Content Creator / Multimedia Editor to join our dynamic team at Plus 1 Communications. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping visual content across social, digital, and branded platforms — working on a variety of exciting clients across industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create engaging multimedia content — including short-form videos, reels, GIFs, animations, social graphics, and branded assets.
• Shoot and edit video and photo content for social media, campaigns, and branded content.
• Collaborate with social media managers, strategists, and designers to bring campaign ideas to life.
• Edit content for various platforms and formats, ensuring brand consistency, creative flair, and technical precision.
• Adapt and repurpose content across multiple channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Stay on top of creative and content trends, and bring fresh ideas and formats to the table.
• Contribute to the development of visual content strategies for client accounts.
• Ensure all content meets platform-specific specs and accessibility guidelines.
• Manage and organise content libraries, raw assets, and final outputs.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in content creation and video editing — agency experience a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects), and tools like Canva, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of shooting video/photo content, with experience using professional or semi-professional equipment.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating creative, platform-appropriate work.
• Excellent understanding of social media trends, formats, and storytelling techniques.
• Ability to edit quickly and accurately, under tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Creative thinking and ability to take a concept from idea to execution.
• Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
• Comfortable taking feedback and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Motion design and animation skills (e.g. using After Effects or similar).
• Experience with livestreaming content or post-production of live event footage.
• Experience working with influencers or on UGC-led campaigns.
• Photography skills (studio or lifestyle).
• Familiarity with content management systems and DAM platforms.
• CGI skills would be an advantage.
