Daish-S-Holidays-1 is seeking an experienced Support Head Chef to provide operational cover across its UK hotels. This hands-on role involves stepping into kitchens during absences, leading teams, and maintaining high standards across locations.

You will support induction and development of kitchen staff, conduct audits, and help ensure consistency of standards while managing food costs and stock controls. Travel across UK sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume hospitality or hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations.
• Experience managing food costs, stock control and budgets.

Responsabilités

• Provide Head Chef cover across hotels during annual leave, sickness, vacancies and other absences.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations while on site.
• Lead and motivate kitchen teams to deliver high-quality food and service.
• Ensure food preparation and service meet company procedures and standards.
• Support hotels during busy periods and handle operational challenges.
• Build strong working relationships with Hotel Managers and kitchen teams.
