Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Darlington area for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers. Shifts run Monday to Friday with starts between 07:00 and 09:00. Location is Darlington, DL1 2BJ. Pay rate is £13.31 per hour PAYE.

Role involves safely delivering high value goods, maintaining a professional image, loading/unloading parcels, and delivering to various locations within set timeframes. Use handheld scanners and maintain high standards of customer care.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driver's license.
• Multi-drop experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Physical ability to manually load/unload vehicles.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels).
• Represent the brand in a courteous manner and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Safely load and unload parcels onto a van.
• Deliver products to designated locations within set timeframes.
• Handle and deliver sensitive materials with proper authorisation when needed and maintain customer care standards.
• Use delivery equipment, including handheld scanners, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Monday to Friday.

Hours: 07:00 - 09:00am starts

Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour PAYE.

The Role:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels).
• Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
• Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van.
• Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
• Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanners, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day.

Requirements:

• A valid UK driver's license.
• Multi- drop experience (preferable).
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
