Job summary
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our Paisley-based client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver seeking regular Monday to Friday work and guaranteed minimum hours.
The role involves multi-drop deliveries to local shops, warehouse duties including loading/unloading, and potential for permanent employment. Shifts are Mon-Fri, 07:00 starts, with weekly pay and immediate starts.
Qualifications
- Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
- No more than six penalty points.
- No DR or DD endorsements due to insurance rules.
- Experience in van driving/multi-drop deliveries.
- Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Customer-focused and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to shops within the local area.
- Drive company vans safely and efficiently between delivery locations.
- Plan and follow delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload the van safely.
- Check paperwork and ensure correct goods delivered.
- Provide professional customer service at delivery points.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Support warehouse operations as needed.
